1. Oak Mountain State Park
Alabama’s largest state park, with almost 10,000 acres; features golf, mountain bike trails, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, overnight accomodations and more!
Location: Exit 246/I-65; follow signs to park.

23. Orr Park
Orr Park consist of 40 acres, pavilions, three baseball fields, three walking trails, two playgrounds and a community center.
Location: 1/2 mile off Main Street in Montevallo.

24. Beeswax Creek Park
Adjacent to Lay Lake, Beeswax Creek County Park is a regional park with almost 100 acres. The park has boat launch facilities, picnic pavlions, grills and a walking trail.
Location: Adjacent to Beeswax Creek off Hwy.145

25. Heardmont Park
Heardmont Farm County Park in northernShelby consists of 74 acres and includes the Oak Mountain High School Football Stadium, baseball, soccer and playground facilities, walking trails and a senior center.
Location: Exit 246/I-65; travel approx. 4 miles east on Hwy.119

26. Pelham Racquet Club
The Pelham Racquet Club is the largest soft court tennis complex in the state. The complex features twenty soft courts and five hard courts. Senior and youth rates are available for daily rentals.

27. The 1996 Fields
This county park consists of 58 acres with six soccer fields.
Location: Hwy.280, 3 miles south of Hwy.119, behind Soccer Blast.

28. Oak Mountain State Park Golf Course
Hours: Open seven days a week. Tee times available with five-day advance notice and before noon only. After noon, the course is open to all on a first-come first-serve basis.
Location: Exit 246/I-65; follow signs to park.

29. Eagle Point Golf Club
Hours: Open seven days a week. Tee times available with five day notice. Features 18 championship holes.
Location: 4500 Eagle Point Drive, just off Hwy. 280.

30. Montevallo Golf Club
Hours: Open seven days a week. Tee times available for weekend play with advanced reservations. Golf carts and pull carts available.
Location: From Hwy.119 turn west on to Middle St. (Hwy.10) to CR 204.

31. The Meadows
Hours: Open seven days a week, except Christmas. Walking permitted after 3 p.m. Tee times available five days in advance.

33. Timberline Golf Club
Hours: Open seven days a week. Tee times available five days in advance. Golf carts available.
Location: Exit 228/I-65; follow signs.

34. Spain Park
Spain Park consists of two baseball and two softball fields.
Location: Adjacent to Hoover's Spain Park High School on Valleydale Road.

35. Oliver Park
Oliver Park has four baseball fields, picnic pavilions, tennis and basketball courts, a nature trail, football/soccer practice fields and the Calera High School Football Stadium.
Location: On Hwy. 25 in Calera

36. Buck Creek Park
Buck Creek Park has three softball fields, a football field and picnic tables.
Location: Sixth Ave. SW in Alabaster

37. Pelham City Park
Pelham City Park has two playgrounds, six baseball/softball fields, a walking trail, a football field and a practice field.
